LnL Home    10 Water Savers    Clients Talking  Lee@LnLPlumbing.com

Plumbing has been around for a very long time. Did you know that the copper piping, which is the #1 material used for plumbing work today is the same material that the Egyptians used 3000 year ago? In fact, archeologists have recovered a portion of a water plumbing system from the Pyramid of Cheops in Egypt. The evidence of indoor plumbing in palaces dates back to 2500 B.C.E.. And I thought I had a lot of experience!

Water waste is a big concern for all of us these days. In a typical home, more than 9,000 gallons of water are wasted while running the faucet waiting for hot water. As much as 15% of your annual water heating costs can be wasted heating this extra 9,000 gallons. One way to conserve water is keep a pail in the shower to fill up while you are waiting for the hot water. Then use that water in your garden.

I can help you save a lot of money in a year in wasted water. For instance, if a single drip from your faucet fills an eight ounce glass in 15 minutes, it will waste 180 gallons a month and 2,160 gallons a year.

Time to put in a newer low flush toilet? It could save you 18,000 gallons of water a year!

When Do You Need A Licensed Master Plumber?

Calling your plumber is not always your favorite thing to do. Especially when there is a problem. But that's exactly when you need a licensed professional who can step in and make speedy and cost-effective repairs. It's a time when you need to be able to trust someone to just "handle it."  I've been doing this work for over 25 years so there is little I haven't seen and dealt with. That's where the trust and confidence comes in. When you call me you know you are going to be dealt with professionally and fairly.

Of course, the best way to avoid problems is with a regular check-up and maintenance. I'm not kidding, an occasional check up of your plumbing systems can help head off problems before they become a disaster. Of course, I can help you with remodeling projects as well. When you need plumbing help in bathroom, kitchen, sumps, piping and fixtures, that would be my number -615.636.3396 that you want to have stored in your cell phone. Go ahead. I'm all for do-it-yourself. I like to fix my own things as well, but there are plenty of times when a professional is actually more cost effective than doing it yourself. Why? Because, and this is a big one, you minimize what I call the hassle factor. That's the time that your toilet or sink is not working while you are out looking for parts and, oh yea, the parts don't fit, so there you go again. Hey.. you could be watching sports. Sometimes you just need a little guidance before you start a project. Give me a call I'll give you consulting guidance to help you make your plan for a reasonable fee before you get going to help you save money and time on your project.

This is my job. I like it. And as I like to say, "Even Plumbing Can Have Class."  So when you need help with any plumbing project large or small, give me a call.
